How Pro Rim Pro Friction Cup Technology Works
Pro Rim Pro uses Friction Cup Technology to attach securely to your wheel and provide hands-free protection while applying tire shine or tire dressing.
Simply unfold the Rim Pro Wheel Protector and pass the flexible tube through the wheel spokes. Slide the black adjustment washer toward the wheel protector until the Friction Cup grips the back of the wheel or spoke and holds Rim Pro securely in place.
Apply your favorite tire shine or tire dressing while Rim Pro helps stop messy overspray from reaching your wheels.
When finished, press the Friction Cup to release it, remove Rim Pro, and fold the wheel protector for compact storage. If your wheels have the same depth, the adjustment can remain in position for faster installation on the remaining wheels.
To Use:
Remove the Rim Pro Wheel Protector, storage pouch, Friction Cup assembly, and black adjustment washer from the packaging. Slide the black adjustment washer away from the Friction Cup and remove it from the tube. Remove the wheel protector from the fitted storage pouch.
CAUTION: The folded wheel protector is spring-loaded and may open quickly. Keep it away from your face when unfolding.
To Assemble:
Insert the Friction Cup tube through the desired hole from the back side of the Pro Rim Pro Wheel Protector. Generally, use the lower hole for cars and the upper hole for trucks or wheels requiring additional reach.
From the front side of the wheel protector, slide the black adjustment washer onto the tube. Install Rim Pro on the wheel and slide the adjustment washer forward until the Friction Cup securely grips the back of the wheel or spoke and holds the wheel protector in place.
To Store:
After treating all four tires, remove Rim Pro and fold the wheel protector by twisting and bringing your hands toward each other. The Friction Cup assembly does not need to be removed before storage.
Place the folded Pro Rim Pro Wheel Protector into the fitted storage pouch. Under normal use, simply wipe the product clean as needed before storage.

Using Pro Rim Pro every time you apply tire shine or tire dressing helps stop messy chemical overspray from reaching your wheels. Cleaner wheels are easier to maintain, and reducing tire treatment residue helps prevent dirt and brake dust from sticking to the wheel surface.
